New Orleans (Aug. 1, 2011) — Uptown PR , a public relations and marketing firm, opens this month, bringing a new small business to the Uptown area.
Uptown PR specializes in media relations, event and product promotions, social media and brand management. It offers integrated public relations and marketing solutions to develop and grow business for its clients.
Founded by native New Orleanian, Genevieve Douglass, the firm focuses on brand growth for local businesses. After returning last year from Birmingham, Ala., Douglass saw a niche in the New Orleans market that her more than five years as a public relations and event/product marketing specialist could satisfy.
The firm services other local businesses throughout Southeast Louisiana such as Guest Law Firm in Kenner in Purely e Pilates + Barre in Baton Rouge.
